​​Rockyford Minor Hockey and Ringette Association is excited for another year of hockey and ringette!

​In accordance with Alberta Health Services, Hockey Alberta, and Ringette Alberta guidelines, RMHRA has implemented the following protocols for all visitors to the

Rockyford Sportsplex .

All facility users are asked to adhere to these guidelines to ensure a safe, successful, and continued season for our athletes.

  • Self assess prior to entering the facility (AHS Self Assessment Tool) and do not enter if you are have symptoms or are unwell.

  • ​Teams are permitted to arrive 30 minutes prior to practices or games and must leave the facility 20 minutes following. No dryland activities permitted.
  • Washrooms and showers will be open for use.
  • No more than 50 participants can be on the ice (including players' benches, boxes) at the same time. This number includes referees and coaches.
  • All users of the facility must follow their own provincial and national sport governing bodies guidelines related to Covid-19. Maximum facility allowance for spectators is 100. For games, each team will be allowed 50 spectators each.
  • Spectators shall only enter at time of event and leave following.       
  • No congregating in the lobby areas.
  • All users are expected to follow Covid-19 guidelines including maintaining required distancing (except same family/cohorts) and practicing respiratory etiquette.

Rockyford Minor Hockey & Ringette Association offers opportunities for children of all abilities and ages a chance to play hockey and ringette in a safe & fun environment. We believe and promote Fairplay and Respect in Sports. Our coaches, managers and referee volunteers are up to date on all required courses and follow the guidelines set out by Hockey Alberta, CAHL and Ringette Alberta . To encourage our children to play to their full abilities and potential we are pleased to offer a power-skating and goalie clinics, open to both hockey and ringette players.
